Prosiect ar gyfer yr Ail Glo Mowr yw Danfona Ddawns/Deliver a Dance a berfformiwyd cyn y Nadolig yn 2020. Roedd ganddo saith o artistiaid ledled Cymru, ac fe wnaetho’ nhw ymweld â’r sawl yn eu hardal oedd wedi eu gwahodd i berfformio eitem ar garreg eu drws. Canodd fy mrawd, Roger Owen, a fi garol Plygain, Deffrown, deffrown, gan ddechre am 3.30am ar glos ffarm gyfagos, a bennu tua 9.30am. Yn y llun, ry’ ni tu fas i’r siop ym Mhontrefendigaid.
Danfona Ddawns/Deliver a Dance is a project for the second lockdown, performed at Christmas in 2020. Seven artists from all parts of Cymru/Wales visited the homes of those who had invited them to perform an item on their doorstep. My brother, Roger Owen, and I, sang a Plygain carol*, starting at 3.30am on a nearby farm and finishing at about 9.30am. In the picture, we are outside the shop at Pontrhydfendigaid.
*Plygain is a church service on Christmas morning, held between 3am and 6am. Each of its carols begin with the birth of Christ and deal also with the crucifixion and resurrection.
